As I mentioned on an earlier post, there’s a point in one’s life where you become at least mildly nostalgic. After all, as the years go by loved ones and friends move, get married, have kids, get old, get sick and die. And life somehow manages to become both complicated and not quite what you expected… I was on YouTube when I came across the full video of David Bowie’s Serious Moonlight tour video. 

My folks had rented this one from Video Joe’s back in the 80s, and Serious Moonlight was one that I remember quite fondly. Until I caught it on YouTube, I hadn’t seen it in close to 30 years. And much like Stop Making Sense, I found the video mesmerizing. After all of those years, I remember Bowie’s blue suit, and the harmonies that he and his backing vocalists had for “Young Americans” and “Let’s Dance."
