Last year, the Argentinian label ZZK Records released a compilation of Argentine, instrumental electronic dance music, Future Sounds of Buenos Aires. On the album, many of the artists mix traditional and rural South American folk music with a forward-thinking, futuristic electronica – essentially, what you’ll hear is the hottest sounds from the clubs and streets of Buenos Aires. On this sampler, you’ll hear from an eclectic roster of artists that include Chancha Via Circuito, Mati Zundel, Frikstailers, Super Guachin, La Yegros, El Remolon, King Coya, and others.

Grant C. Dull, a.k.a. El G, is the label manager of ZZK Records, the founder of the Zizek Club, and an American expat who has resided in Buenos Aires for the past 8 years. As El G, Dull will be on tour, spinning tunes from FBOBS, upcoming releases and beyond, throughout January and February. For those of you in the NYC area, you can catch him live at Studio BPM (BomBeat) in Williamsburg. It’s a 10:00 set, $10 cover, and it’s a 21 and up show y’all.
