Nashville, TN-based quintet the Lonely H recently released their self-titled fourth album, and the material on the album has the band paying homage to some of the rock sound of the late 60s and 70s – think of Tom Petty, Bob Seeger, Bruce Springsteen, and others. The band also enlisted the help of the Rolling Stones’ Bobby Keys and others to create a warmly familiar sound. I think it’s because the track actually has a lilting, twang to it …

But the song strikes me as the sort of song I’d probably play on a summer Sunday afternoon while watching a ballgame and a nice cold pint of Guinness
