Myron and E, along with their backing band, the Soul Investigators had a number of 45s released through Timmion Records, and those early recordings won the attention of Stones Throw Records who then signed them, and released their latest effort Broadway back in July. And the new album continues the act’s reputation for soul-based sound straight out of 1963 or so – although “Do it Do It Disco” sounds like it was released in 1973.

Tom Noble was enlisted to remix “Do It Do It Disco,” off the new album, and Noble’s remix brings gives the song a slickly produced funky feel, straight out of 1984 or so.
