Extensively touring since 2009, the East Nashville, TN-based musician Adrian Kyrgowski has been playing what his backing band has dubbed “soul-folk” in sold-out clubs, house concerts, coffee shops, festivals and just about everywhere else in between. Backed by Paul Neihaus on steel guitar (he’s played with Caleixco and Justin Townes Earle), Jared Manzo on bass (he’s played with Chris Scruggs), Krygowski will be releasing a 7 song EP, Roam on January 14th. “Roam,” the EP title track, and first single actually sounds as though it owes a great debt to old school country, thanks to the twanginess of the guitar.
