2013 has been a pretty big year for Cut Copy, as they’ve released their fourth full-length effort, Free Your Mind back in November to mostly critical praise. After the announcement of a second round of dates for an extensive global tour, which includes a highly anticipated March date at Terminal 5, the band recorded a DJ mixtape created for Triple J radio in their native Australia.
What makes this mixtape really cool in my mind is that it’s meant to be listened to as a rather seamless, organic whole with the tracks meshing together – and interestingly, it sounds as though it could have easily been an unreleased B-side to Free Your Mind.
