The San Francisco, CA-based trio of Phil Benson (bass and vocals), Corey Cunningham (guitar and vocals), and Nathan Sweatt (drums), a.k.a. Terry Malts recorded the follow up to their critically applauded 2012 Slumberland Records debut full-length effort, Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere in typical DIY punk fashion — by themselves in their rehearsal space. The first single “I Was Not There” from the album is some thrashing, loud three power chord rock. Ah, I’m suddenly reminded of the mosh pits at the Continental, and illicit, seedy as fuck places like the Shank.
