A couple of weeks ago, the NHL had invited several “influencers” to a pre-Stadium Series ramp up event at the NHL Store on West 47th and Sixth Avenue, and I was invited, since i talk about New York Rangers hockey during the regular season. And while at the event, I won tickets to attend one of the Stadium Series games – the Rangers and the Islanders at the BIg Ballpark – er, hockey rink – in the South Bronx. And although it was incredibly cold, with temperatures in the mid-teens by the first face-off, it was a gorgeous sight to see hockey outdoors – in some way, it made sense. On another level, it was a little insane, once I started losing feeling in my fingers and toes.
Still, a Rangers win against the hated Islanders made it all worth it. And of course, I did take some photos, so check them out.
