Although currently based in Los Angeles, CA, the singer/songwriter known as Bedouin has crafted a song that is similar to her name – it possesses a restlessly nomadic heart and sounds like it borrows influences from a variety of genres.

Sparsely arranged with swirling electronics, guitar, piano and Bedouin’s effortlessly lush, gorgeous voice, “Bright Lights,” the first single off her self-titeld EP has a haunting, dream-like quality that it’s hard to shake.

The official video explores the sense of disconnectedness that can occur when one is stuck in one place and the desperate desire for travel that disconnectedness can create. It’s an eerie and strange video for an eerie song.
