Comprised of Michael van Putten, Marcel Jongejan and Adrian Hogervost, the Utrecht, the Netherlands-based trio of Stillwave have developed a reputation across their native Holland for a sound that meshes elements of alternative rock, New Wave, post-punk and shoegaze – in fact, on “Modes of Transport,” the band has a sound that bears an uncanny resemblance to David Bowie, if he were the frontman of Remain in Light-era Talking Heads.
