Named after their lead vocalist, Dorothy, the Los Angeles, CA-based quartet, which consists of Dorothy, Mark Jackson (guitar), Eliot Lorango (bass). and Zac Morris (drums) has a sound that employs elements of riff-heavy 60s and 70s rock, the blues, and hip-hop with a soulful vocalist, as you’l hear on the gritty, sweaty and yet pop-orientated new single “After Midnight." Interestingly, the track reminds me quite a bit of Dirty Ghosts’s exceptional Metal Moon, as that album possesses a similar sound.
