Formed early last year, the trio of Lowbanks have become one of the Atlanta, GA area’s up-and-coming underground punk bands. And with a scuzzy, boozy, surfer rock/garage rock sound that bears a resemblance to the likes of FIDLAR, Concord America, Diarrhea Planet, White Mystery, and others, I think that the Atlanta-based trio may take the world by storm with the forthcoming release of their The Dogs EP in early December, and a full-length effort slated for a 2015 release.

“Sleep for Days” the EP’s latest single and it buzzes with a ferocious intensity throughout it’s run time, thanks to incredibly distorted guitar, throbbing bass, and howled vocals. As soon as you hear this one, it should make you want to get up to headbang and mosh – as hard as possible. But it also sounds like the perfect soundtrack for bars like Clem’s and the Library.
