The Brighton, UK-based indie pop sensation Fickle Friends, comprised of Natassja Shiner,  Sam Morris, Harry Herrington, Chris Hall and Jack Wilson have taken over the blogosphere over the last few months, in a fashion similar to that of the Spanish-born, Berlin-based indie pop artist Sofi de la Torre; in fact, the British quintet’s “For You” had put the band on the international map, as that single had the band as one of Hype Machine’s most blogged artists – incredibly without the single even being available in the US until Ghost Beach signed the act to his label, Crazy Heart Records

Their latest single “Could Be Wrong” continues the success that the band had with “For You” as the single is soaring yet earnestly plaintive vocals paired with breezily anthemic hooks in a way that may remind some listeners to St. Lucia, Haerts and others, as the song possesses a similar slick production style – without removing the song’s sentimentality or its summery feel. And similarly to St. Lucia and Haerts, the song manages to be wistful yet incredibly danceable.
