Photography: The Black and White Project, Revisited, Days 2-4: March 29, 2016 – March 31, 2016

Earlier this week, you may recall that I started a photography project, The Black and White Project Revisited, which follows along the same rules and lines of the “The Black and White Project,” that some of you will remember from 5 years ago. And much like the original Black and White Project, this project requires me to take at least one black and white photo every day — this time over the course of 60 days instead of 487. Of course, things have been pretty busy around here and I’ve been dealing with some computer issues so there have been a delay here and there. But in any case, let’s begin, right?

As you can imagine, these kinds of projects inadvertently delve into the photographer’s daily life — and as a music blogger, don’t be surprised to see some live concert photography thrown in, such as these live shots taken at Baby’s All Right in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I was invited to a Northside Festival Innovation event at Kinfolk 94 in Williamsburg, and I came across these gorgeous pieces on North 10th Street and Robeling Street. And as you can imagine, these pieces quickly caught my eye and although I was running late, I needed to photograph them.
