As I’ve mentioned a few hundred times of late, it’s been a very busy few months here with The Joy of Violent Movement and I’m still desperately trying to catch up with things while maintaining a full-time job. But such is the life of those who are hustling, right?
In any case, back in September – holy shit, this year has passed by quickly! – I was at the Mercury Lounge for a night of shoegazer rock that featured the Painted Zeros and Elephant Stone, the Montreal-based band led by sitarist and bassist Rishi Dihr, who were in town to support their latest effort, The Three Poisons.
