“Philadelphia” is the first single from Canadian rock band Paper Lions’ sophomore effort, My Friends(which will see an August 20th release). As the folks at Filter Magazine says of the track, “Paper Lions manages to create a tune both mellow and beautiful, instantly evoking the breezy feeling of youth and summer.” But I think that underneath the track, there’s a subtle bittersweet feeling that comes from the recognition that youth, like all things does not last.
