Photography: Lower Manhattan/Financial District 3/29/21

I recently made a dream purchase when I bought a full frame digital SLR camera —  Canon 6D Mark II. Early Spring often brings some nice weather here in New York, and unsurprisingly, the nice weather has inspired me to take my new camera out to shoot as much as humanly possible: I get to know my new camera better. I get some much-needed exercise, (somewhat) fresh air, and sunlight.

So the other day, I was in Manhattan’s Financial District. Check out photos below.

Caption: Killarney Rose Bar on Beaver Street. Beaver Street is one of those old world sort of streets. Walking on it reminds me of streets I’ve walked on in Amsterdam and in Frankfurt.

Caption: Jean Dubuffet’s Group of Four Trees, 28 Liberty Street. This particular piece caught my eye from a block and a half away.
