Pony Time, the Seattle, WA-based duo of Luke Beetham (vocals, bass guitar and baritone guitar) and Stacey Peck (drums) first met when they had helped a mutual friend move a stereo system in 2009. They started writing and performing almost immediately after their first meeting – it was as though it were meant to be.

“Geordie” is one of the singles off the band’s latest effort, Go Find Your Own, and in some way it reminds me a bit of angular, 60s British mod rock, as well as CaesersJerk It Out” but with a scuzzier, grungier feel.

The video is a beautifully shot black and white that shows the band eating, smoking cigarettes and while playing the song in an almost careless, matter-of-fact manner.
