Recently, DJs and producers have been drawn to indie electro pop act Bad Suns, remixing a number of the band’s singles. Up-and-coming producer Sebastian Carter remixed the band’s “We Move Like the Ocean“ and his remix wound up turning the Cut Copy-inspired song into a slickly produced house music track, complete with layers upon layers of dreamy synths, thumping  drums and reverb added to the vocals. Carter’s remix managed to add a sweaty and urgent sensuality and a very subtle psychedelic feel —  while retaining the original song’s emotional directness and plaintive vocals.

Junior Sanchez remixed Bad Suns’ ”Salt“ and much like Sebastian Carter, turns the song into a house track; however, Sanchez’s remix is much more propulsive as it’s comprised of room shaking drums and bass, undulating synths and keyboards. In some way, Sanchez’s remix adds an overt sensuality to a song that was already pretty club ready. (This version is the radio edit, which cuts the song down to a radio-friendly length but if it is indicative of how slick the full-length version must be.)
