September 3rd marked the release of the Stockholm, Sweden-based punk band Holograms’ sophomore effort Forever. The material on the album draws from the odd experiences of being a internationally touring musicians with an new album out — only to return back home, flat broke, bored to death, unemployed and living in your folks basement. But they also wanted to make the material on their follow up to be big sounding, as though it could fill a large room, like a church – or a gigantic arena. 

“Meditations” is the second single off Forever, and the track is a tautened, anxious track full of pummeled chords played with tons of “attack, attack, attack,” and howled lyrics.
