Since 2000, Dub Club has carved out an indelible presence in the worldwide reggae scene – drawing huge crowds each week to check out the best artists from Jamaica perform alongside the Dub Club DJs. Tom Chasteen, the man behind Dub Club has developed a reputation not just as a club promoter, but as a DJ and producer.

Before the release of his collaboration with Jamaican artist Tippa Lee, and other dancehall and dub legened titled Dub Club: Foundation Come Again, Stones Throw Records will be releasing two limited releases of from the Foundation sessions – the first, Signs and Wonders in Dub is available now, in vinyl.

Check out “Beware Dub” the first single off Signs and Wonders and it’s a trippy experience – Signs and Wonders in Dub was mixed live to tape in one take by Chasteen.  The dubs were made the classic way, improvising in the moment, twisting knobs, pushing faders, reshaping a song with echo, reverb, space and time. The track has a free-flowing, mind-bending feel that will make you feel really good. Irie vibes, mon, shiiiit.
