Stones Throw Records will be releasing Troubadour, the follow-up to the Stepkids’ breakout, self-titled debut later on this year – it’s slated for the fall. The trio was enlisted to take part in Red Bull’s new video series, “In the Red Bull Studios,” and in each video new and emerging artists are invited to perform at the studios in Los Angeles to perform a few songs from their latest release. 

With that in mind, check out “The Art of Forgetting” a psychedelic jazz fusion track that brings to mind, a dazed Return to Forever. The band performs the video backed by a kaleidoscopic art installation that just adds to the feel of the song.
