The Brighton, UK-based electronic dance music duo of Ben Prok and James Fitch, best known as Prok and Fitch, can trace their origins to when the duo met by chance in 2006 at a UK record store and bonded over their love of house music. Since their formation, the duo’s work has been critically applauded by the likes of Beatport, who have listed their singles on their Top 10 Lists and across the blogosphere, as well. They’ve also collaborated with Moby, Todd Terry, and Roger Sanchez. And they’ve had the likes of Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Tiesto and Steve Angello champion their remixes. 

BBC Radio 1 recently premiered “Raw Cut” off the duo’s forthcoming EP,  Raw Cut and the single draws heavily form the duo’s influences – 90s house as it’s comprised of layers of tribal drumming, skittering percussion, hot flashes of cymbal paired with a glitchy yet soulful vocal sample. The track manages to be slickly produced and yet has a very subtle sensuality at its heart backed by a supple groove.
