The Brooklyn-based duo of Beacon have developed a reputation for their sound which manages to mix electronica and R&B. The band just released an EP, through Ghostly International titled, For You, and the second single from the EP, “Safety’s Off” is a sparse track – minimalist to the point of being ghostly (which is kind of fitting). Interestingly, the track reminds me a bit of a track off Bear In Heaven’s I Love You It’s Cool.
