The Delaware based duo of Mean Lady will have their debut effort. Love Now released through Fat Possum Records on July 23rd. “Far Away” is the first single from the album and it mashes genres in a playful, charming fashion – the song at first sounds as though it could have been an old fashioned folk song before boom bap drums and ambient noise turns the song into a reggae-inspired (and very sweet) love song. And it does so in a manner that’s playful, charming and inventive.
