The Seattle, WA-based quintet the Young Evils have developed a reputation across the Pacific Northwest of infectious and sugary pop hooks and angular guitars – in fact, on the band’s latest single “Touch Tone Lovers” reminds me of a poppier, lighter Turn On The Bright Lights-era Interpol

With the release of the official video, a video which has some rather pretty but surreal imagery, the band announced that they signed with Fairfax Records, the label founded and run by the Lumineers and Cold War Kids’ producer Kevin Augunus. The band is working on a full-length effort in the same studio space where Nirvana recorded their breakout, legendary album Nevermind, and the new effort will reportedly see a fall release.
