The video for “Wait” off M83’s latest album, Hurry Up We’re Dreaming is the last of a trilogy of videos directed by Fleur and Manu with “Wait” being the finale. The Creators Project, Intel, and Vice Magazine were integral in getting Fleur and Manu’s vision, and it’s a pretty impressive one – it looks and feels much like a sci fi movie that borrows liberally from Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. 

Thematically, the directors have claimed that the video aims to capture the end of a cycle through a child’s eyes, and that’s particularly prescient since the Mayans have predicted that the end of a cycle of human history is coming to a close on December 21st.
