Ultramarine is the first full-length album from the Ocean Blue in about ten years. The new album is a bit of return to form while showing a lot of growth – after all during the years that the band spent writing and recording the album, life (naturally) happened. And lyrically the album’s lyrics are melancholic, impressionistic, and romantic. The video for Ultramarine’s first single, “Sad Night, Where Is Morning” was recently released and it’s a gorgeously shot black and white video. 

While listening to “Sad Night, Where Is Morning” I was couldn’t help but hear Joy Division/New Order’s “Ceremony."
