I was in the Bedford Stuyvestant section of Brooklyn, walking to Tompkins Park – oh wait, it’s Herbert von King Park now – to catch Big Daddy Kane perform as part of this year’s Summerstage when I came across some gorgeous graffiti on my way.
This mural on a building off Lafayette Street was dedicated to influential and important woman through history. As you can see, it immediately captured my eye.
This mural right outside of the park was dedicated to a fallen friend.
