I wound up meeting a photographer and some of her girlfriends and wound up going to one of the Afropunk Festival afterparties on Myrtle Avenue but I wound up leaving after a couple of beers as I had been drinking all day on a virtually empty stomach. Sadly, I needed a cab to get back to the F train at York Street – it was far too long of a walk and I was only dimly aware of where exactly I was in Fort Greene. After I got out of the cab, these murals by the F train station caught my eye.
