Up-and-coming electronic music artist Slaptop has a sound that evokes wild, youthful adventures – in fact his debut single “Sunrise” is reportedly about a group of friends who go out on an all-night adventure that eventually culminates in watching the sunrise together. The track is a slickly produced bit of electro pop that owes a great debt to house music, in part to the breezy but glistening synths, warm blasts of horns, sensual vocals and funky bass line. 

But interestingly enough,the song possesses an anthemic and catchy hook that should bring to mind the sort of summer jams you’d hear in a club or at someone’s party. It’s so upbeat that you can’t help but want to dance and smile to it.
