Photography: Coney Island at Night 7/26/25
Things look a bit different around here. There’s a reason for that: Regular freelance work dried up for me last July. Not much has gone on with full-time work, or anything else. Whatever meager earnings and savings I had evaporated quickly. So when it came to a number of subscriptions, including WordPress, I couldn’t afford to renew them — and now here we are. A weird placeholder and a weird layout that I don’t particularly like. I’m trying to keep the show running as best as I can until things get better. But I have to admit that I’ve been feeling extremely discouraged. Sigh. If anyone has leads to work — freelance, part-time, contracted, project and/or full-time — that would be much appreciated.
Let’s get back to it, right?
Coney Island on a summer night is a furious blur of neon lights, games buzzing and wheezing, people shouting, laughing, singing, 38 different genres of music and neon light. And it’s fucking perfect
