Last week, I made the trip to Rouyn-Noranda, Québec to cover the 22nd Edition of FME. It was quite the adventure. After clearing customs, which for seemed a bit more aggressive than what I remembered, I had to practically run through the airport to get to my gate.
I managed to get to the gate about 4 minutes before they started boarding, sweating and breathing hard. An announcement was made, that we would have to go outside for our flight. We needed to follow the pedestrian pathway — and no cell phone usage was allowed. Ooops. But the adventure really began!
