(It’s neither here nor there) It’s neither here nor there
North and South and East and West
(it has to be somewhere) It oughta be somewhere
North and South and East and West
I take my payment, I catch my flight
And don’t wait up for me tonight
(And you might find me there) And you might find me there
North and South and East and West . . .
— The Church “North, South, East and West”
Last week, I was off to Québec for the 24th edition of FME in Rouyn-Noranda. I had an early morning flight scheduled to Montréal but I really couldn’t sleep much. And then my phone exploded with an update from Air Canada that said my flight was cancelled because of staffing issues. They’d rebook me for another flight within 30 minutes. Roughly 30 minutes later, a new flight was booked that featured a flight to Toronto for a connection to Montréal Trudeau. And it was an hour earlier! But it still generally maintained the initial itinerary/ So off to Toronto Pearson it is!
No matter what, it felt so very good to be out on that road y’all.
