Nashville TN’s DeRobert and the Half-Truths are one of the funkiest contemporary bands in the country. G.E.D. Soul Records will be releasing a 7" with “I Got Burned,” which I posted earlier, and the B Side, “ Country Bump.” “Country Bump,” is a southern fried, funky instrumental which is reminiscent a bit of James Brown and Booker T. and the MGs – minus the organs. The 7" will be released on the 20th, so be on the lookout.
