Originally hailing from St. Louis, Bear Ceuse’s lead singer Cameron Matthews moved to New York City with the dream that many artists have – of taking on the big city. Matthews enlisted the work of a Chicagoan, Adam Horne on guitar; Jordan James, a Julliard  student and French horn player; and New School alum Danny Sher on drums to help flesh out Matthews songs. From listening to “Entertain Me,” one of the latest singles off Don Domestique, which will see a February 28th, 2013 release from UK-based Medical Records, you get a sense of the old time alt rock and indie rock of the 80s. This track reminded me quite a bit of the Replacements – not a bad comparison if you ask me.
