Photography: 86th Street and 2nd Avenue Subway
I’m off to Montreal for the M for Montreal Festival on Wednesday and in between packing and getting things together, including a couple of errands, I went to Manhattan’s Upper East Side to have dinner with my former boss and dear friend. My errands took a lot less time than I expected and with some time to kill, I took some photos of the amazing Chuck Close portraits at the 86th Street and 2nd Avenue Q station. It may be a bit of redux for this site — but if you’re in the neighborhood, you should spend a few minutes checking out the artwork in all of the stations along the 2nd Avenue Line.
