Massive wildfires in Québec turned the skies and the air into a filthy, orange gray Martian hellscape. Because of the conditions, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival‘s opening night at Prospect Park with Taj Mahal was understandably cancelled. (It’s since been rescheduled to Monday night. Hopefully, the conditions will remain agreeable.)

I had some prints I wanted to pick up at Adorama, so I went out into those weird conditions to take photos. Admittedly, I’m getting a bit tired of the near apocalyptic/apocalyptic events happening every so often. But sadly, I know these sort of things will happen with a disturbing frequently until we stop acting like assholes.
