Friday night, I caught JOVM mainstays A Place to Bury Strangers play a roaring headlining set at Music Hall of Williamsburg. After the show, I wound up hanging out with the band and a ragtag collection of friends. That hang out session wound up at ending at Williamsburg bar We Got Company, a bar that I’ve passed by thousands of times but never stopped in.
It got very late, and I was about to take the rare Lyft back to Queens, this elephant statuette on tope of their taps caught my attention.
