Because I’ve had a lot of free time over the past few months, I figured that it would be worthwhile to explore my beloved hometown with a set of new eyes — as though I were a tourist, heading to places that I shamefully haven’t seen before. So after following the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game and the Brooklyn Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers NBA Playoff game, I headed to Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City, right around sunset for some photos.
