Photography: The Black and White Project Revisited, Day 13: April 11, 2016
It’s been a rather busy week in my own life and in the JOVM world as I started a day job down in Soho and have been attempting to readjust to a Clark Kent-like life, at least for the time being. After my first day at the new job, I walked up to Washington Square Park with the hopes of catching people doing interesting things — but it wound up turning into a walk from Soho to Union Square Park.
(Photo Caption: Spring has sprung — well, sort of. Despite the flowers finally blooming, it’s been a bit cooler than normal. So it’s kind of a confusing season so far.)

(Photo Caption: I caught a weird video shoot that featured a modern dancer with a lion mascot DJ. I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on but it was interesting, for sure.)

(Photo Caption: When I was attending school at nearby NYU, I took a few creative writing courses, which I thought were kind of boring. And I can remember telling a dear friend at the time that I wanted to write a poem titled “Pissing on Garibaldi,” because there would be these enormous piss stains on the base of the statue. Amazingly, they seem to be cleaned up — or New York has changed in a way that I can’t possibly understand.)

(Photo Caption: Donald Trump is apparently begging for money for that Mexican wall he’s constantly talking about.)
