Heavy D was born 57 years ago today. We lost him at the tragically too young age of 44. When I was a boy, I was a huge Heavy D fan. He was among a lengthy list of favorite artists of the late 80s and early 90s. I loved “The Overweight Lover” so much that I can remember asking my parents to get me the Peaceful Journey album for a Christmas gift.
Going through these videos brought back a lot of memories.
