Live Concert Photography: High Waisted and Dirty Dishes

If you’ve been following JOVM over the course of this summer, you’d know that it’s been a rather busy summer for me, and I’m still desperately trying to catch up on all of the live coverage I’ve been up to this season. Back on a rainy late June night, I stopped at the new, Bushwick music venue Alphaville to catch the locally-based surf rock/dream pop trio High Waisted and Dirty Dishes, a prog rock/shoegaze/noise rock/indie rock trio, who were at the time extremely recent transplants, moving from Los Angeles to New York practically a day or so before their Alphaville set.
