Earlier today, I did the thing that all the cool, smart, hot people should always do — vote. I voted for the candidate that has a bold vision and big dreams for all the folks who make my hometown so special; the candidate that I believe will fight hard for all of us — especially the least of us. And he’s a dreamboat. Just sayin.’ Y’all know what I mean.
On a serious note, democracy ain’t a spectator sport. And with the Nazis, fascists and lunatics in our current “administration,” we can’t take any of our rights for granted. Elections have massive generational consequences. There are something like 50,000 local elections. There’s probably an election where you live right now. So if you’re registered, voting is one of many ways to make your voice heard. If you’re not, register today.
