Pacifica is the first release by the Presets in a couple of years, and for their fans and those who love electronica, it was long awaited. After the release of the full-length, the band will be releasing a remix bundle of the album’s second single, “Promises.” French producer and DJ Lifelike gives the track a slick sound that sounds a lot like Cut Copy’s fantastic In Ghost Colours – in other words, it has a dreamy, somewhat fuzzily forlorn feel before the track drifts to a conclusion. 

Also, I think you’ll notice that the remix is a densely layered and with repeated listens it will reveal hidden little wonders. It’s pretty fucking impressive, if you ask me.
