Caption: Sudan Archives at There Goes The Neighborhood, Under the K Bridge. Sudan Archives is always a fun shoot. There were a couple of reasons this one was special: I ran into a bunch of music industry pals — and some of their pals. So it was at times, an extended hang out session with bands I’ve loved forever. Additionally, JOVM was on hiatus but i knew I’d be able to bring it back. So it was the first live coverage post-hiatus, too. A good way to start off, huh?

Last year had been a major step forward for me professionally — and one of the better years I’ve had in recent memory. So, when this year started, I naturally had hoped that sort of momentum would continue well into 2025. Unfortunately, this year has been a bit of a stall and regression simultaneously.
Hopefully 2026 will be better. But in the meantime, I wanted to share some of my favorite live music shots.
