I can’t say it enough, I love parades. And with things inching closer to the most dire and fucked up most of us have ever seen, any time we can celebrate creativity and diversity with defiant joy, parades like the Village Halloween Parade felt much-needed. 

And as you’ll see from these photos, New Yorkers know how to bring it.
