Photography: Celestial at ARTECHOUSE
Founded in 2015 by arts advocates Sandro and Tati, ARTECHOUSE is a new age art destination dedicated to showcasing works by groundbreaking artists, who work with new technology and new forms of creative expression. At the crossroads of art, science and technology, ARTECHOUSE brings true 21st Century art experience as the first innovative platform for experiential, genre-bending, one-of-a-kind multimedia art exhibitions and explorations.
In 2017, ARTECHOUSE opened their first permanent home in Washington DC. In 2018, ARTECHOUSE opened their second location in Miami Beach and in 2019, they opened their newest location in the Chelsea Market Buildingr in the Chelsea section of Manhattan.
ARTECHOUSE’s latest exhibit, sees the folks at ARTECHOUSE transforming their three locations into unique expressions of Pantone’s Color of the Year 2020: Classic Blue. From earth, to water, to air, each location will present a distinct, elemental experience related to the unique qualities of Classic Blue. Interestingly, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue is apparently imprinted in our collective psyches as a peaceful color, that brings tranquility to the human spirit and soul. Of course, the installation seeks to do the same; centering our thoughts and fostering resilience — in a time when we may need it most.
The New York exhibit, Celestial, which is up until March 1, 2021 is specifically designed to take visitors on a journey into the skies and beyond. It’s a profound and trippy experience and of course, I brought my camera. Check out some photos below.
