The other day, I had an appointment at the City’s Press Credentials Office at the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building to pick up a renewed press card. It turned out — perhaps fittingly — that the earliest date I could schedule an appointment to pick up my new press card was in February. But in light of the vindictive hatefulness of the Trump Administration, seeing Black Lives Matter Boulevard again and during Black History Month made my heart sing.
