Photography: Christmas Tree, William H. Gray III 30th Street Amtrak Station 11/17/24

I was in Philadelphia for the final installment of Asian Arts Initiative’s Sound Type Music Festival and Music Writers Workshop last Saturday. I decided to spend the night, realizing that there might be a chance to hang out with some of my fellow writers.

My last few hours in town Sunday morning were extremely low key: Brunch at Khyber Pass Pub followed by a Lyft ride to William H. Gray III 30th Street Station. Arriving about 40 minutes before my train was scheduled to depart allowed me a chance to go to the bathroom without having to desperately rush.

As I was walking to the Men’s Room, I came across the station’s Christmas tree, which was brilliantly lit.
